Today actually felt like a normal day…Haven’t had one of those in a few years…Hubby went to work early to help out family and I got to spend the entire day at home with my munchkins…When he got home in the evening, I was just putting dinner on the table…Just in time for us all to sit down as a family…Honestly, it felt kinda weird…I spent a lot of time pacing my kitchen floor and twiddling my fingers….Not sure what to do with myself without having my hubby home with me all day long…Thank You God for an opportunity for work for my husband…
I did get up in the morning and have a cup of coffee with my favorite man in the world before he left for the day…After he left though, I had to wake the kiddos up and get them fed and dressed quickly…I had to run out the door to the Dr’s…I had another EMG test scheduled…The last one I had in November of 2012 was inconclusive…It reported I had nerve issues in my left and right ankle…But my Neurologist was not sure about the results…Therefore ordered another one…The first one included both of my legs and back…This new test was for my legs and left arm…I have began to have left side weakness in my arm and leg…Ne-ways, 3 kids in a doctor’s exam room for 45 minutes of testing could have been a disaster but I am so happy and proud to say…My children sat in their chairs with their tablets and gum in the mouths for 45 minutes…Not one word was spoken the entire time…The Dr. was able to have my complete attention…Thank You God for the sweetest and most obedient children I had today…
After the Dr’s. appointment…I promised the kids we would stop at the Hostess Outlet store to get some more Mini-Muffins…I could not stop but to laugh at myself when I pulled into the parking lot…It was closed…My aha moment…I had already forgotten about Hostess shutting down…It was not that long ago this business was big news but now it is not even mentioned in the news…Goes to tell me, how much information we are bombarded with every day…How quickly we forget when we focus on everything else…I ended up just heading home and promised them a treat later…My youngest had his home therapy soon…Thank You God for helping keep my mind focused on the important things in my life…
After dinner, my daughter and I took a drive…We had to return a few library movies or face more fines…I already owe them about $20.00…I don’t know how I keep doing this…A few years back I owed them around $80.00…Hasn’t gotten that high in a long time…But every dollar counts…We go to the library at least once a week…I can even renew everything online…I post due dates on kitchen calendar and my personal calendar…The library even sends me an email the day before…But still I cannot get them their on time…Hard to admit this…But I to am not perfect…I know your surprised…Ne-ways daughter and I stopped at Wal-greens to look around…Just to shop…We love to shop even if we do not spend any money…I finally broke down and spent the money to buy all 3 munchkins a wall charger for their tablets…It was getting very old trying to charge a kindle, cell phone, camera and 3 tablets off of only 1 wall charger…I also picked up some Blue Bell Chocolate Covered Cherries Ice Cream…Yum, Yum, Yummy…That was the treat, I promised the kids earlier…I have got to keep my promises because I want to set a good example…But mainly because my kids never forget a promise…I learned that lesson a long time ago…Thank You God for everything I have and the ability to give my children things…
The night is ended with watching the newest Disney movie ”Brave” and eating a bowl of ice cream in 20 degree weather…Yes, I told you we were weird…It is freezing outside and chilly in the house but we for some reason want to make ourselves colder by eating ice cream…It is just so GOOD…Until Tomorrow…May God bring you peace and fill your hearts with Love…
