Lazy, Lazy, Lazy is what our house has been today…Hubby and I crawled out of bed at 12:54p.m. This is where not having a full-time job outside of the home and homeschooling our kids affords us the luxury of…

I think we are exhausted from this weekend of busy painting and moving furniture…We do not get to do this very much though…Usually, have appointments and other things to do…It is nice to be able to take a break from our busy lives and sleep in…

Kids did get schoolwork done…The boys jumped on getting it done quickly so they could continue their game playing together…My oldest son, is coming along in leaps and bounds with his math work…When I thought I was failing them, one of them surprises me and catches on quickly…

Laundry, dishes and usual pick up of house…A family trip to Menards…We were able to buy some chalkboard paint…We are going with a red color instead of black…Will post pictures when it is all painted…I think it is going to look great…

Dinner in the crockpot…I have another recipe that is a hit…I cannot believe, I didn’t think of it before…Nachos…I followed a recipe out of my crockpot book but I believe it is really simple to make it your own…This recipe is great for when family is home at different times…

2 lbs hamburger browned with 1 cup of onions and one bell pepper

In crockpot: 16-24oz of shredded cheddar cheese, 2 cans of refried beans (I only had one can but I had of can of red kidney beans that I smoothied in a blender, still taste great), 2 cans of cream of mushroom or chicken soup, a pint 16 oz of taco sauce, 2 pkgs of taco seasoning…

Put browned hamburger, onions and green pepper in crockpot too…Mix well…Cook on high for about an hour and a half to 2 hrs or until cheese is melted…

Serve over tortilla chips…Top with sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes (no tomatoes for us though)…

Easy Taco salad ready for anyone when they are hungry…Enjoy…

I actually did work on my key-chain chores chart…Will post when I am happy with the finished product…My perfectionism is what will take so long…That is about all for tonight…

Going to bed early have a busy day tomorrow…Testing with my youngest…

Thank You God for the lazy days I am afforded…Thank You for having a hubby to sleep in bed next to…Thank You God for my quiet children when I am sleeping…Thank You God for our full bellies…

Gracious and Amazing you are God as you keep me safe as I sleep and you bless me with every day you grant me…

Isaiah 55:3 NIV Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.
